2. The service

The Self Employed Club is a free membership platform that provides UK sole traders with access to hand-picked deals, discounts and savings across three categories: Business Essentials, Save Money on Life, and Grow Your Money.

Membership is free. We earn revenue through affiliate commissions paid by deal partners when members click through and make qualifying purchases. This does not affect the price you pay.

3. Eligibility

Membership is open to UK sole traders only. By registering, you confirm that:

• You are a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom
• You have a valid Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number
• The verification documents you submit are genuine and belong to you
• You are aged 18 or over

We reserve the right to reject any application or suspend any membership where we have reason to believe these conditions are not met.

4. Registration and account

To access deals, you must register for a member account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with any other person.

We will manually review your application and verification documents before approving your account. We aim to do this within 24 hours of submission. We reserve the right to decline any application without giving a reason.

5. Deals and affiliate links

The deals listed on the Site are provided for information purposes. We make every effort to ensure deals are accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that all deals will be available at the time you access them. Deal terms, pricing and availability are set by the relevant third-party partner and may change without notice.

Deals on the Site use affiliate links. When you click through to a partner and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission. This commission is paid by the partner and does not affect the price you pay.

We are not a party to any transaction between you and a deal partner. Any issues with purchases made through the Site should be resolved directly with the relevant partner.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account access or deals with non-members
• Attempt to circumvent our eligibility verification process
• Scrape, copy or redistribute deal content from the Site
• Use the Site in any way that could damage or disrupt our systems

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, logos, graphics and deal listings, is owned by The Self Employed Club Limited or our licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute any content without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for:

• The accuracy, completeness or availability of any deal listed on the Site
• Any loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on the Site
• Any transaction you enter into with a deal partner

Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms, provided false information during registration, or if we discontinue the service.

10. Changes to the service and these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We may also modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice where possible.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
