I started The Self-Employed Club because I know firsthand how overwhelming and isolating self-employment can feel. As a Chartered Accountant, I’ve worked with countless freelancers, solo business owners, and independent professionals who love working for themselves—but often struggle with the challenges that come with it. From navigating taxes and finances to figuring out marketing and pricing, it’s easy to feel like you’re constantly second-guessing yourself. And without a team to bounce ideas off, self-employment can feel lonely, too.
